ChoreTrack

Terms of Service

This page is part of ChoreTrack. It is written in plain language so parents can actually read it.

The service

ChoreTrack is a family chore management app: parents create a household, assign chores, and track points and allowance. By creating an account you agree to these terms. ChoreTrack is provided for household, personal use.

Accounts and household responsibility

The parent or guardian who creates the household account (the household admin) is responsible for the account: for who is added as a member, for the accuracy of chores, points, and allowance settings, and for activity under the account. Keep your login details to yourself. Allowance and payday figures in the app are records for your family's own system; ChoreTrack does not hold, transfer, or guarantee any money between family members.

Subscriptions and billing

ChoreTrack offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription at $6.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Premium begins with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged at the price shown at signup, renewing each period until cancelled.

Web subscriptions are billed by Stripe. In-app subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google under their store terms, with subscription status managed through RevenueCat. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Premium until then. Refunds for store purchases are handled under the store's policies. For web purchases, contact us at [email protected].

Acceptable use

Use ChoreTrack for your own household. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other households' data, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the service's operation. Photos and content your household uploads remain yours; you grant us the limited permission needed to store and display them inside your household as the app requires.

Availability and changes

We work to keep ChoreTrack available and accurate, but the service is provided as is, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice where we can. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
